Simeon drove rapid growth that was catalyzed by a commitment to bringing consumers “knowledge, trust, and confidence.”
Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Commercial Markets (2009 – 2012) at Medica Health Plans, Minnetonka, Minnesota, where he and his team created My Plan by Medica, an exceptional provider-oriented product developed in partnership with health systems. Over the years, he has held senior level management positions at several high-profile healthcare companies including a succession of leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare.

President, Brighton Health Networks
Rob joined Brighton Health to lead the development of both Brighton Health and MagnaCare Networks. Prior to Brighton, Rob led Cigna’s national strategy for delivery systems and their national hospital collaboration team. The team launched various innovative collaborations with hospitals and large physician groups, including branding and support of hospital sponsored healthplans partnered with or powered by Cigna across the nation. Rob has specific expertise on development of personalized networks with integrated delivery systems and constructing volume to value roadmaps with delivery systems. In prior roles for Cigna, Rob managed the Rocky Mountain and Northwestern Regions for Cigna including pricing and network management functions, based in Denver, Colorado before relocating to New York. He also had responsibility for managing over $9 billion in medical expense, annually. He began his healthcare career in Arizona, working in Hospital administration where he formed physician health organizations that shared governance with community physicians, as well as led network management activities for their own provider sponsored Medicaid health plan. Rob has a Finance degree from Northern Arizona University.
CEO, Brighton Casualty Solutions
Sri joined Brighton Health Plan Solutions to lead the growth of its Casualty business and reports to Simeon Schindelman, CEO of Brighton Health Plan Solutions. Sri is a recognized leader in developing innovative workers compensation risk management solutions. Risk & Insurance® magazine named Sri a Power Broker® (workers compensation) in 2008 and again in 2011 for his creativity, industry knowledge, and commitment to delivering superior client service and solutions. He served as a member of the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute (WCRI) board of directors and has been a speaker at the national WC & disability and RIMS conferences. Prior to Brighton, Sri led the Workers Compensation product strategy for Gallagher Bassett (GB). Sri was responsible for defining and driving execution of GB's workers compensation product strategy, with a particular focus on innovative medical management solutions that deliver and demonstrate superior results for both clients and injured workers. Prior to GB, he was with Marsh USA, for 10 years, where he began his career in workers compensation claims and served in a variety of leadership roles. Sri has a Master's degree from the University of Michigan with an emphasis in finance, statistical analysis and ergonomics and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Madras India.
Arun joined Brighton Health Plan Solutions in April, 2014 to head the technology team as Chief Information Officer, and is responsible for the oversight of the technology operations, infrastructure as well as introduction of new solutions and technologies for the future. Prior to BHPS, Arun served as Chief Information Officer of Healthfirst, a managed Medicare, Medicaid and long term care health plan service over 1.1 million members in NY metro area. During his tenure at HF, the organization grew from $4 Billion to over $7 billion and improved its clinical quality and earned top quality rating in NY for Medicaid and a 4 star rating for its Medicare plan. He also served as a Sr. Vice President of Information Systems for MagnaCare. Arun holds an Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering with specialization in Computer Science from Delhi Institute of Technology and has attended management programs at University of Phoenix, AZ.
Carmilla joined Brighton Health Plan Solutions in 2015 and heads up our Analytics department. Prior to joining BHPS, Carmilla was a Benefits Executive at Bank of America responsible for design and strategy of the US Health and Insurance programs for employees and retirees. Carmilla joined the Bank in 2008 as part of the Merrill Lynch acquisition. Carmilla’sprevious positions include: Health Actuary at IBM, Principal and Actuary for Mercer, Healthcare Pricing Actuary at NYLCare and the Guardian Life Insurance company respectively. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). She has an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines.
A. Bartley Bryt M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Bartley joined Brighton Health Group as Chief Clinical Officer in 2014. Prior to BHG, Bartley served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating and Clinical Officer of three divisions at CareCore National, LLC from 2009 to 2014. From 1997 to 2009, Bartley served in numerous leadership positions at UnitedHealthcare/Oxford Health Plans; his responsibilities included physician performance profiling, medical and population management. He began his career at Kaiser Permanente after earning a Master's in Public Health from the Columbia School of Public Health and completing a fellowship in Preventive Medicine at Cornell. He completed a Pediatrics residency and Chief Residency at NYU, obtained his Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York (Cum Laude, Alpha Omega Alpha), and he received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Vermont (Phi Beta Kappa). He remains a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics most recently re-certifying in 2012.
